Shaner Avenue Nursery supports non-profit youth organizations in the communities we serve ie. athletic programs, music/band programs, youth groups, 4-H groups, FFA, boy/girl scouts, Senior All Night Party, etc.

Here’s how you can Grow Your Cause with Shaner Avenue Nursery!
Select a Wednesday (Grow Your Cause is only available on Wednesdays) that works for your organization. (Please note that we will only schedule one group per Wednesday. You may want to select an alternate date as well.) Shaner Avenue Nursery will provide a copy of the fundraiser flyer that you can copy and distribute or email to potential supporters.
When a customer presents a flyer at the time of purchase, 15% of their total product purchase will be donated back to your organization. The donation amount is based on the total product sales before tax. The 15% of total products purchased does not include any services (delivery, landscape design, etc.) or gift card purchases. In order for sales to be tracked for your organization, a hard copy of the flyer must be presented at the time of purchase. Showing us a digital copy on your phone does not count.
Promotion of the Grow Your Cause event and distribution of the fundraiser flyer is completely dependent on your organization and its members.
Handing out flyers at Shaner Avenue Nursery prior to or on the day of the event is prohibited.
The Grow Your Cause fundraiser will run for the entirety of Shaner Avenue Nursery’s business hours for the date selected.
In the event that the Wednesday your organization has selected is experiencing or is forecast to experience inclement weather, your fundraiser event can be moved to the following day. Notifying potential supporters of the change of date is your organization’s responsibility.
