Description
Crabapples provide year-round interest in the garden, with a changing look every season. In spring they tend to be among the first to bloom. The fragrant flowers come in shades of pink, red, and white. The flowers transform into fruits that can also appear in a variety of colors. From late summer, fruits can appear in yellow, orange, and red. In the fall, the leaves become shades of orange and red until the fall off in winter leaving the fruit on the bare tree, looking stunning against a a backdrop of snow.
